What is my card actually worth?

BinderIQ shows what a card actually sold for, built from completed eBay sales, with the range, the number of sales, and each sale a tap away. Asking prices are shown separately and labeled.

Sold versus asking

An asking price is what a seller hopes to get. A sold price is what a buyer paid. Most price tools blend the two. BinderIQ leads with the sold figure, shows the range across recent sales and how many sales that is, and keeps active listings in their own labeled section so the two are never confused.

What you see for a card

  • A recently sold price, with a small trend line across the most recent sales.
  • The low and high of that range and the count, for example $1,134 to $4,500 across 3 sales.
  • Each individual sale, one tap away, so you can check the condition and date yourself.
  • Active listings, separately, so you can see what people are asking right now.

Raw cards versus graded cards

Raw card prices exclude graded slabs, so the range reflects a raw copy of your card and not someone else's PSA 10. Tabs for Raw, PSA, BGS, SGC, and CGC let you switch to graded sales for the same card and grade.

Where the prices come from

Sports card prices come from completed eBay sales. Pokémon, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Lorcana prices combine TCGplayer market data with completed eBay sales. Prices are fetched when you look at the card, not cached from months ago.

Prices by parallel

A base card and its numbered parallel are priced separately. When BinderIQ shows you the checklist for a product, each version carries its own sold figure, so the difference between versions is visible before you buy or sell. See how the parallel checklist works.

Your whole collection's value

Settings shows the total value of everything you have filed, along with how many of your cards have a price and how many do not. The number is honest: it never pads the total with guesses for cards that have no sales data.
